Hi everyone! I am working on a hat design with our company logo. But when I try to overlay the logo on the hat in the editor, it does not look natural. It seems too flat and does not fit the shape. How can I improve such mockups to make them look realistic? Maybe there are some tips on how to use the hat editor?

There are several ways to make mockups more realistic. First, be sure to use high-resolution images – blurry photos will only ruin the look. Then, if the logo looks too flat, try using the Warp tool to give it a curve that matches the shape of the hat. It is also very important to work with fabric textures – you can set the blending mode of the logo to the layer so that it blends with the texture of the material of the hat. Another useful technique is to use a displacement map, which will help the logo “fit” into the folds of the fabric. I found a helpful article that goes into detail on all these steps, here’s the link: https://www.ebar.com/story.php?ch=preview&sc=&sc2=&sc3=&id=336781 . This will really help! Good luck with your work!

I always struggled with getting the logo to look natural on the hat. Using a displacement map really helps, especially when working with textures and folds of fabric. I also recommend remembering to check layout from different angles, because logo can look different from different angles, and it’s important to keep everything balanced.

Editing hat mockups with logos can be tricky, but nailing the details is so worth it. The right tools can make all the difference in getting a clean and professional look. While working on mockups, I realized how much visual inspiration matters too—like having a workspace that sparks creativity. That’s when I stumbled upon this guide on how to change wallpaper on Mac https://skylum.com/blog/how-to-change-wallpaper-on-mac and honestly, it made setting up my desktop aesthetic so much easier. Having a personalized background feels like a small thing, but it really sets the vibe when you’re deep into design work!
